Tropical Haven and Exotic Animals

Once you enter through the gates of the Barbados Wildlife Reserve, you are in the animals' world. This is their home.

In this tropical haven, exotic animals, reptiles and birds, some threatened with extinction thrive.

The monkeys in The Wildlife Reserve are free to leave and often spend the mornings in the nearby Grenade Hall Forest. They usually return to the reserve in the afternoon and are best observed at that time when they are provisioned with fruits and vegetables.

The Barbados Wildlife Reserve is a project of the Barbados Primate Research Centre. The Research Centre and Reserve is a registered non-profit organization.

Open hours 10AM to 5PM daily.
