Second Most Populated Parish

Christ Church is the second most populated parish of Barbados on the southern tip of the island and is adjacent to the parish of St. Michael.

Christ Church offers a range of visitor accommodation, restaurants, nightclubs, bars and beautiful beaches.

The South Coast is a curious mixture of the calm Caribbean Sea (West Coast) and the unpredictable Atlantic Ocean (East Coast).

The South coast offers something for everyone - calm swimming, snorkeling over inshore reefs and tidal pools, and at the southernmost tip of the island - windsurfing. You can enjoy exciting water sports such as windsurfing and jet skis or discover sunken treasures in the fabulous underwater world.

The main town in Christ Church is Oistins, a major fishing centre. Another notable area is Saint Lawrence Gap, often abbreviated to "The Gap", which is the most lively tourist area on the island. Many of the bars and clubs are well populated by locals and tourists alike.
