White Sand Beaches of the South Coast

Rockley/Accra Beach
Also known as Accra Beach, this very popular south coast beach offers a combination of exciting waves and calm swimming. Relax on a chaise lounge or on the soft white sand, under the shade of a casuarina or sea-grape tree, or enjoy one of the many watersports activities that are available from the beach such as windsurfing, sunfish sailing, Hobie Cat rides and snorkeling.

Silver Sand Beach
Silver Sands is a lovely beach located on the south coast of the island. The waves and swells in this area are quite impressive making it an ideal spot of a wide variety of watersports. During the winter months the tradewinds off the coast of Silver Sands create perfect conditions for windsurfing and Silver Sands is a world class spot for this exciting sport.

St Lawrence Bay
The bay, also known as 'Little Bay', is located at the at the entrance to the popular St.Lawrence Gap, on the south coast of the island. The sea is exceptionally shallow at low tide and you can walk out a long way while the water barely reaches your knees! The reef which borders and protects the bay is an interesting place to snorkel, with unique rock formations and schools of tropical fish.

Welches Beach
Welches Beach, on the south coast of Barbados, can now easily be considered one of the islands best. A considerable amount of renovation work has recently been completed in the area, turning what was once a small strip of beach into a lovely wide expanse.

Worthing Beach
Located on the south coast of Barbados is the beautiful white sandy beach of Worthing. The sea in this area offers a multitude of delights for all sea lovers!
